Benincasa Vineyards

Cantina Benincasa was established in 1964 by Domenico Benincasa. The vineyard was originally composed of six hectares of land used to produce Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso.

    50% Sangiovese, 50% merlot The grapes are harvested in cassettes, brought to the winery by hand, where they are macerated for 12 days. Put in steel tanks for short aging and then they are bottled. The wine has a ruby color, medium body and structure with red fruit fragrances and enjoyable tannin.
