100% Sagrantino grapes. Matured in oak barrels for 3 years. It brings to mind black pepper and cinnamon, and it is persistent and richly tannic as is expected of a Sagrantino. This ruby red wine pairs well with game, red meat, and aged cheeses.

About the Vineyards

Gabriele Dionigi of Assisi was drawn to the beauty of Bevagna’s farmland in the late nineteenth century, and he founded Cantina Dionigi in 1896. His descendants have been producing fine wines and olive oils since then, and it retains its roots as a family business.
