About Elizabeth

One of the most influential authorities on Italy, Elizabeth Minchilli is a journalist and blogger and the author of several authoritative books on Italian food, ceramics and design.  Her popular dining app, Eat Italy (Rome - Florence - Venice) has helped countless Italian travelers find just the right restaurant.  Elizabeth divides her time between Rome and Umbria with her architect husband Domenico. A  friend of Via Umbria owners Bill and Suzy Menard, she is visiting the US this summer to promote her new book, Eating My Way through Italy, making a special visit to Georgetown for a book reading and signing and a dinner featuring her favorite recipes.
