Combining age-old farming traditions and family pride

It would not surprise us to learn the Filippo Mancino has olive oil coursing through his veins. Thanks to a mild climate and the right soil conditions, olive trees have thrived in Filippo’s native region of Puglia for centuries, and have always featured in the long history of the Mancino clan. It is apparent from the small scale of their operation that the owner oversees every step and that the family’s pride - not just its delicious olive oil - is present in every bottle and jar. Though the ancient stone mill has been replaced by modern continuous-process equipment, the Mancinos still incorporate age-old farming traditions to produce extremely high quality products. Their careful production results in olive oils with very low acidity, an intense natural aroma and a delicious fruit taste with a pleasant hit of butter that some would call the lifeblood of Italy.
