Vincastro Umbria Bianco IGT
50% Grechetto, 50% Trebbiano Toscano Aged in steel tanks and controlled for temperature. The wine is bottled in February following the harvest. The wine is star yellow with glimmering greens, scent of fruits and white flowers. Light and fresh, best paired with hot appetizers, smoked fish, grilled fish & fish stew.

About the Vineyards

Cantina Benincasa was established in 1964 by Domenico Benincasa. The vineyard was originally composed of six hectares of land used to produce Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso. Today, the farm covers 46 hectares, 10 of which are planter with grapevines and 18 with olive trees. The rest compromises arable land, woods and truffle fields. After the 2000 harvest, the vineyard passed to Benincasa’s third generation: Marco and Roberto Alimenti, the founder’s grandsons.
